Salon Series: The Digital Transformation of the Public Sphere

Program:

Patrick Zerrer is a (soon-to-be-finished) PhD student at ZeMKI Bremen in the Digital Communication and Information Diversity Lab. 
He will present his dissertation, which focuses on the integration of mobile tracking data and surveys in the study of climate activists‘ communication and action.

Louisa Pröschel is the Program Coordinator of the Program Depolarizing Public Debates at the New Institute Hamburg and soon-to-be PhD student at the University of Hamburg (Department of Journalism and Communication Sciences; esp. Climate Change Communication). 
She will discuss her research on the cross-media agenda-setting effects of polarized frames concerning the „Last Generation“ protests and its implications for public discourse.

Date and time: May 22, at 7 p.m. The official part of the event normally takes around two hours and will be followed by some informal drinks.
